I am a freelance recording engineer, mixer, and producer based in Rochester, NY.
I have been making records since 2004, when I recorded a five song demo with my then bandmates in a basement using borrowed mics, a rented preamp, and a homebuilt computer. Those recordings have since been heard on MTV’s Real World, Road Rules, and most recently, Oxygen’s Millionaire Matchmaker.
After going “full time” in 2007, I have had the opportunity to record legends such as Steve Gadd and Russel Thompkins Jr. of The Stylistics, as well as work with revered mixing engineer Mick Guzauski.
I try to bring to every project a balanced and musical outlook, respecting the aesthetic considerations of the artist’s genre, be it hip hop, rock, jazz, etc.
